Step 6 – What bio to write?

 

Another challenge came – your bio on Instagram. With a limited number of characters you need to enter the most important info about you. It is unnecessary to add information to the bio that does not really reveal your nature and interests.

Your bio should contain a really short and clear description of your personality so that people, looking at your profile before they look at your photos, can get to know you as a person and see if your interests match. The following things must be present in the bio – your real name (if you have a pseudonym), place of residence, profession/education, hobbies/interests and email. We pay special attention to the email – some time ago Instagram introduced an option for a button in your account to display your email. However, the desktop version of Instagram does not support this option, and if an advertiser opens your account from their laptop, they will not be able to see your email.
